The 2013 version of IEC 62321-1, -2, -3-1, -3-2, -4 and -5 has been officially announced through the final international standard version (FDIS) phase. Standard to measure the specific hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products - IEC 62321, outlined the test method of electronic products, in order to determine product the harmful chemical substance concentration below the eu limit harmful substances (RoHS) directive in the law of the concentration of harmful chemicals. 2013 version of the main change is that the file into a series of standards, and standard maintenance, import new test methods or equipment at the same time, such as burning - ion chromatography instrument (C - IC) and cold vapor atomic fluorescence spectrometer (CV - AFS).
Following the completion of the above standards, four additional criteria are currently in the drafting phase of the draft; PBB/PBDE (IEC 62321-6), hexavalent chromium (IEC 62321-7-1 and -2) and the test method of phthalate (IEC 62321-8).
These standards are expected to be released as follows:
February 2014 - IEC 62321-6.
April 2014 - IEC 62321-7-1.
November 2014 - IEC 62321-7-2.
March 2015 - IEC 62321-8.
